2021 Intentional Easter Baskets
This post shares how I create intentional/practical/fun Easter baskets for my boys, including how I plan, what is included and what types of “baskets” we use! Scroll down for unique ideas for both babies and toddlers! I want to first start off by saying that no matter how you choose to celebrate Easter (or any holiday) you are a good parent! Whether you choose to have an elaborate Easter basket, or don’t celebrate at all, there is no right or wrong way to do it. With that being said- the two holidays that we celebrate the most in our home are Christmas and Easter. The rest we do maybe something…

Gift Ideas for Toddlers
These gift ideas for toddlers were thoughtfully curated as a former teacher with a background in child development… and as a mom to a 2.5 year old during a pandemic 😉 All items on this list are either ones that my toddler has and loves or ones that I have on his Christmas list this year. Christmas Book Advent Calendar
One of my favorite traditions growing up was our Christmas book Advent calendar. Each day of December we would receive one new holiday book to open and read together. We usually received a few new books each year, but for the most part, the same books were used year after year. My hopes is that this blog post makes it easier for you by answering all of your questions: what books to include, where to find them,…

Babies who are 6-12 months learn a ton of new skills in this short period of time. They learn how to roll, then sit, scoot, crawl, and pull up to standing all in these few months! Additionally, their brains are continuing to develop at a rapid pace, they are developing fine motor and language skills and are teething! My son will be 8.5 months at Christmas so I wanted to get him toys that will promote his development now and as he gets older and begins to master these skills. I am including some of his current favorites as well as some that are on his wish list! * This…

Easter Basket Ideas for Toddlers (from Amazon!)
This post shares over 60 easter basket ideas for toddlers from Amazon including Easter basket alternatives, arts & crafts, toys, books, bath toys, educational toys and practical items! Easter is one of my favorite holidays and I LOVE creating intentional Easter baskets for my toddler, Henry. I try really hard to only buy him toys on Christmas, his birthday and Easter, so I put a lot of thought into what goes into his basket! I want his Easter basket to be filled with items that he can use all year long and that won’t break and be tossed in the trash at the end of the day. For this reason,…
