Community Cookbook
Several weeks ago as I was meal planning I thought it would be really convenient to have a list of our family’s favorite meals to reference. But, as I started to jot down our list- I realized we don’t actually have a ton of “go-to” recipes! I love trying new recipes, but we only have a handful that we repeat frequently. SO I decided to ask the community on Instagram and you guys SHOWED UP. Thank you so much for all of your submissions! I compiled all the recipes into a list below- organized in the following categories: beef, vegetarian/vegan, chicken, soups, seafood, pork and misc. They are also in…

Meal Prep Made Easy: Healthy Buffalo Chicken Four Ways
One of the biggest obstacles that I faced when I started meal prepping was that I got so sick of eating the same meal every. single. day! Now, instead of preparing entire meals in advance, I often will cook a yummy protein source and then find different ways to eat the protein throughout the week! For example, this week I made a healthy buffalo chicken in the crockpot and then used it in buffalo chicken bowls, stuffed buffalo chicken sweet potatoes, a buffalo chicken pasta bake and buffalo chicken quesadillas! Yes, that’s a lot of buffalo chicken, but we didn’t get sick of it because we had it in so…

Healthy Cranberry Sauce Oat Muffins
These healthy cranberry sauce oat muffins are a great way to turn leftover cranberry sauce into a nutritious breakfast or snack! This year I hosted Thanksgiving and decided to try making my own cranberry sauce for the first time. I used to LOVE cranberry sauce from a can as a kid, bus as I’ve gotten older the cylinder shaped sauce started to gross me out. Needless to say, I hadn’t had any form of cranberry sauce in years. I figured that making homemade sauce wouldn’t be much different than the canned variety and wouldn’t be worth the extra effort–but boy, I was so wrong!! After making this recipe from Skinnytaste…
