Note Card Workout
I had about a million things to do during nap time today. I was SO close to skipping my workout but I’m really trying to stop the excuses and be consistent 😉 Luckily I just found this stack of workout cards that I made a few years ago and was able to use them to come up with a quick, but effective workout! Each color of cards is for a different part of the body. I started with one green upper body card, did the exercise, then chose one orange core card, did the exercise, chose one pink cardio card, etc. Then I started back over with an upper body…

Free Tighter Together Workout Calendar Printable
Update: This post has been updated with the printable calendar for the Fall 2019 Tighter Together challenge! I completed Madeline Move’s “Tighter Together” program in January 2019 and am getting ready to start the spring challenge starting on May 6th! I was SO happy with my results from my first round–then I weaned Henry and gained all the weight back, plus some!! Needless to say, I am so excited to start a new round before summer! Tighter Together is a pretty intense challenge. Not only are the workouts tough, but counting macros can be challenging as well! One thing that really helped me last round was being organized and prepared.…

Free Spring Mile Tracker Printable
I talked earlier this year about how I wanted to start running more this year and eventually complete a half marathon! I set a goal to run or walk 100 miles by Valentine’s Day (using this mile tracker)— but if I’m being honest– it didn’t happen. We’ve had snow on the ground since December and Henry has had a hard time at the gym childcare. So, while I have been working out at home, running hasn’t happened much. I can’t WAIT for the snow to melt and to be able to get outside to walk or run again. Since I unfortuantley don’t know when that will be, I wanted to…

My Top Tips for Counting Macros & Free Macro Meal Plan Templates
I have counted macros on and off for several years now. I feel like I have truly tried every diet known to mankind over the course of the past ten years, but counting macros is truly my favorite! Why? Because when you count macros (macronutrients), you are learning about the composition of food–how many carbs, protein and fats are in food. Rather than focusing solely on calories, you focus on these macronutrients and try to comprise your diet of a certain percentage of each macronutrient. So while counting macros definitely encourages you to make healthy food choices–it also promotes balance. You can’t go carb crazy, but you can definitely have…

Free Mile Tracker Printable
One of my big goals for 2019 is to get back into running again. A few years ago, I ran a race every month! However, once I became pregnant, running pretty much stopped for me. I am nine months postpartum now and finally feeling like I’m ready to get back to it. Last week, I ran for the first time in over a year–and let me tell you it was ROUGH. Running ONE mile was hard, which is discouraging because my goal is to run 13.1 miles this year! I feel like I am basically starting over at square one. I am not a “natural” runner. Running has always been…
