    Zone Cleaning Printable Checklists

I recently heard of zone cleaning after being introduced to the Fly Lady method on Tik Tok. I was skeptical at first- but since I had yet to find a cleaning schedule that worked for me, I decided to give it a try. I am happy (and proud!) to say that I have stuck with it for the past 2.5 months!! And while my house isn’t perfect, every month it is looking better and better. The consistency is paying off and I can now see why this method has been so popular for decades! What is zone cleaning? Zone cleaning is essentially dividing your home into sections (“zones”) and cleaning…

    2021 Summer Reading List

One of the best things to come out of 2020 was the reigniting of my love for reading. I read a ton as a kid, but like many adults, let it fall by the wayside as life became busier. Being stuck inside for much of last year, finally gave me the chance I’d been wishing for- for more time! Not only did I start reading more, but I started using apps like Good Reads, following “bookstagram” accounts and even a few reading groups on Facebook! I’ve loved learning about different books from people across the internet and by TBR is getting LONG. One of my favorite types of blogposts to…

    1000 Declutter Challenge

Over the next few months I am making it a goal to get 1000 “things” out of our home. Call me crazy, but I’m just done dealing with the clutter. Dealing with it takes away so much precious away from people I love and frankly, I would rather do MANY other things besides clean up all day, every day. I successfully completed the #minsgame last year and while I made a pretty big dent in our stuff, there is still quite a bit left! I wanted to play again, but without as strict of rules. So in this version, all you have to do is color in a box for…

"What We Have" Meal Planning Template

Every week I try and participate in #fullfridgefriday. This means that I meal plan, grocery shop and have my fridge “full” by Friday, leaving time for fun family time on the weekend and less time spent doing boring tasks like grocery shopping ๐Ÿ˜‰ Despite how much I love the idea of a “full fridge” I am making the last week of every month different. I will use the last part of the month to use up what we already have in our fridge, freezer and pantry. This is something I want to incorporate monthly because 1. it helps prevent food waste & 2. it helps save money (which is especially…

30 Random Acts of Kindness before 30 years old

For my upcoming 30th birthday, I created a “30 before 30” challenge for myself. Part of that challenge was completing 30 Random Acts of Kindness before my birthday! Out of all of the tasks on my birthday bucket list, this was by far my favorite one. Nothing puts you in a better mood than doing something kind for someone who isn’t expecting it! Earlier this year, I compiled and shared a list of over 110 ideas for random acts of kindness. This post will different in that I will be sharing the 30 RAKs that I actually ended up completing, as well as the printable templates that you will see…
