Christmas Bucket List Activity Jar

There is something about a new season that makes me so excited! I especially look forward to doing fun holiday activities with my family and am so excited to be able to include Henry in them this winter!

I love the ever so popular seasonal bucket lists that float around social media this time of year–but sometimes looking at those lists can seem a little overwhelming–which completely defeats the idea of a fun bucket list, right?! I wanted to make something similar that would encourage us to enjoy some festive activities, but didn’t seem daunting–so I created this holiday activity jar!

You can add as many or as few sticks as you would like and the best part is– the sticks are color coded! I used the green sticks to denote an activity that we would go do, the “white” sticks are activities that involve making something and the red sticks are easy, no prep activities! You don’t have to color coordinate, but if you do, it allows your little ones to still randomly choose an activity while being something that fits in that day’s schedule. If it is a busy weekday night you could have them grab a red stick, but if it is a weekend with nothing to do, you could have them choose a green stick and go on a holiday adventure!
